How To Move Objects Freely In Sims 4
Method description.
To place an item is, select the item and hold down the Alt key, then you can drag the mouse and have it placed anywhere you like.
As long as it doesn't touch other items or walls. You can also rotate the item 360 degrees.
Select the item and hold down the Alt key and click the mouse to rotate it freely.
Items on the wall can also be moved to any height and left/right position by using the Alt key
Example.

You can do the same with windows, except that they cannot be moved left or right, only up or down.
The Sims 4 Commonly Used Secrets Introduced by
"Help"

"resetSim {FirstName} {LastName}"
Resets Sims. resetSim can be followed by the name of a particular Sim. (Guess: resetSim can be followed by * to reset all Sims in the town. Same as Sims3.)

Toggles between fullscreen and windowed game modes.
"headlineeffects {on/off}"
Hides or shows effects on the Sims' heads, including crystals, idea bubbles, etc. (Useful for taking pictures of Sims, taking screenshots for theatre, etc.)
"|Death.toggle"
"Won't die": disables Sims from dying and turns off the possibility of death. (Supposed to be a new secret sauce added to The Sims 4. Useful for Sims-loving players.)
"FreeRealEstate [on|off]"
"Free Real Estate". Can be entered under the community/town (world) screen to make any house free.
"motherlode"
Adds 50,000 simcoins.
"kaching"
Adds 1000 simcoins.
Pressing "Shift + ]"
Pressing the keys "Shift + ]" simultaneously enlarges the size of the item.
